Amazing Picture
Taken this Easter Saturday afternoon, with a little imagination, the silhouette of Jesus with his arms spread wide can be seen. It was framed by chance by the ice on my window and the clouds and blue sky behind. The shape that suggests Jesus is actually just a space, a blue space between two worlds, that of my window in the foreground and that of the sky behind.
It is perfectly fitting to a key section of the most recent article on Hermits and Prayer (see below.
The article talks of the Blue/Clear energy, of Lao Tsu, who, as the energy of "Be Still and Know that I Am God", is both a presence and yet an emptiness both at the same time. The silhouette of Jesus in the picture is the same, a nothingness suggesting something! To me it is an amazing synchronicity.
